What is /llms.txt and why does it matter?
/llms.txt is the AI-search-era equivalent of robots.txt: a markdown file at the root of your domain that tells AI engines what your site is, who it's for, and which pages to prioritize when they cite you.
Unlike robots.txt (which controls crawling), llms.txt is content. It's the summary an AI engine reads before deciding whether to name you in a recommendation. A good llms.txt:
