GetIntel ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our marketing platform and services.

2.2 Information We Aggregate

Our platform aggregates publicly available business information from various sources including:

  • Public LinkedIn profiles and professional networks
  • Company websites and press releases
  • Public funding announcements and SEC filings
  • Job postings from public job boards
  • News articles and press mentions
  • Publicly available technology stack information

4. Data Sources and Accuracy

GetIntel aggregates data from publicly available sources. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is current or complete. Users should verify critical business decisions with primary sources.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating our platform
  • Business partners for integrated services (with your consent)
  • Law enforcement when required by law
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Data Security and Storage

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and managed, access-restricted infrastructure to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

GetIntel is hosted in the United States. Your data is stored with the following providers:

  • Application servers — Hetzner, United States (Ashburn, Virginia)
  • Primary database — DigitalOcean Managed PostgreSQL, United States (NYC3)
  • Cache and job queue — DigitalOcean Managed Redis, United States
  • Files, reports and uploaded images — Cloudflare R2

If you access GetIntel from outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.

6.2 Sub-processors

To provide the service we share limited data with the processors below. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

  • AI engines (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Perplexity) — receive the buyer questions we probe on your behalf. These are the questions being measured, not your account data.
  • Data providers (DataForSEO, Ahrefs, ScrapingBee, ScrapingAnt, Cloro, Bright Data) — receive the domains and questions needed to retrieve search, ranking and page data.
  • Payments (Stripe) — receives billing details. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
  • Email (Resend, Postmark) — receives your email address and message content to deliver account and report emails.
  • Product analytics (PostHog) — receives usage events so we can understand how the product is used.
  • Infrastructure (Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare) — hosting, storage and network delivery.

6.3 Connecting GetIntel to AI Assistants

GetIntel offers an MCP server so you can connect your account to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. Connecting requires you to sign in and explicitly authorize access, and access is scoped: a read-only connection cannot change anything in your account. Once connected, the assistant you choose receives the GetIntel data it requests on your behalf, and that assistant's provider then handles it under their own privacy policy. You can revoke a connection at any time from your GetIntel settings, which immediately invalidates its access.

7. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Aggregated prospect data is refreshed regularly to maintain accuracy. Detailed API usage logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing privacy@getintel.ai, and we will delete it within 30 days except where we are required to keep records for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
