AI Visibility Tracking

See which buyer topics you own in AI search, and which a rival does.

Every buyer question is grouped into a topic. Each one is scored on its own: a 7-day rolling trend, the point change, the competitor AI names most often, and your win rate against them, backed by visibility, share of voice, average position, and citations.

We run 60 AI checks (20 buyer questions × 3 engines) to see if you get named.

How it works

From zero to topic scores in minutes.

No tag to install, no SDK, no data warehouse. Paste a domain and your topics start scoring.

01

Connect your domain

Paste your URL: no tracking pixel, no code, no call. Your buyer questions get grouped into topics and the first scores are ready in about 60 seconds.

02

We probe four engines daily, a fifth weekly

GetIntel asks the cold buyer prompts your prospects type across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews every day. Claude joins as a fifth engine on Growth, refreshed weekly.

03

Each topic scored and trended on its own

Every topic carries a 7-day rolling score, a trend, a point change, the rival AI names most often, and a win rate against them, so you know exactly where to focus next.

Own the topic, not just the brand

Every buyer topic, scored and trended on its own.

Buyer questions are grouped into topics: distinct clusters like pricing, comparisons, or a specific integration. Each topic carries its own 7-day rolling score, a trend, and the point change since last week, so you can see exactly which topics you're gaining and which are slipping.

  • A 7-day rolling score for every topic, not one blended number
  • Trend and point change tracked topic by topic
  • The competitor AI names most often for each topic
How measurement works
How you stack up

Share of Voice and position against the rivals AI actually names.

Being visible isn't absolute; it's relative to the competitors AI recommends instead of you. Each rival gets its own visibility, Share of Voice, and average position, plus how many of your topics they're beating you in.

  • Per-rival visibility, Share of Voice, and average position
  • Win rate on head-to-head topics
  • Updated daily as citations shift
Where you actually stand

Recommended, mentioned, absent, or open, across every question.

Every buyer prompt lands in one of four states per engine: recommended, mentioned, absent, or open. Rolled up with average position and citations, you see the real split behind the topic scores, not just a single trend line.

  • Recommended, mentioned, absent, and open, per engine
  • Average position and citation share alongside each
  • Trended daily against every rival AI names

Per question, per engine

Drill into any question and see exactly what each engine said.

Every topic breaks down into the buyer questions behind it. For each one, see whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and (on Growth) Claude recommended you, merely mentioned you, or left you out, so a topic score always traces back to a real answer. ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews are read from the real consumer product your buyers open; Perplexity runs through Perplexity's API.

What's actually driving citations

See which of your pages AI is citing, and which topics they serve.

A topic score is only half the picture. This traces it back to your own site: which pages AI engines are citing, how often, the trend on each, and which topics each page is pulling its weight for, so you know exactly what to publish or fix next.

  • Per-page citation share and trend
  • Which topics each page serves
  • Traces a topic's score back to a real, fixable page
Full model coverage

Every model your buyers ask. Scored the same way.

Your prospects don't stick to one AI. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews are probed daily; Claude joins as a fifth engine on Growth, refreshed weekly.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Every buyer question you track gets grouped into a topic: a cluster like pricing, comparisons, or a specific integration. Each topic is scored on its own, as a 7-day rolling measurement, with a trend, the point change since last week, the rival AI names most often for it, and your win rate against that rival. You see which topics you own and which a competitor owns, not one blended number.

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews are checked every day on every paid plan. Claude is added as a fifth engine on the Growth plan and refreshes weekly.

ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews are read from the real consumer product your buyers open. Perplexity is checked through Perplexity's API.

Of every brand mention across the questions in a topic, Share of Voice is the percentage that is you versus each named competitor, per engine and blended. It answers two things at once: are you named at all, and how often relative to the rivals you actually lose deals to.

When an engine names more than one brand in an answer, average position is where you land among them, averaged across every question where you show up, for example "#1.4 avg". Being mentioned is not the whole story: first-named is not the same as fifth-named.

AI findability is whether AI assistants can reach your pages, name your brand and cite your site; AI findability covers how findable brands are and how to check yours. GetIntel retired the name Findability Score: the number it reports is visibility, the share of AI answers that name you across your tracked questions and engines.

No. Ahrefs is an optional integration: bring your own API key to add backlink and keyword signals for competitor depth. It is not part of how topics are scored, it is extra context on top.
