6 Best Rankscale Alternatives in 2026 (Compared on Price and Engines)
By Tarang Agarwal, founder of GetIntel. Every price checked on the vendor’s own page, last on 26 September 2026.
Rankscale tracks more AI engines than almost anyone, ten on every plan, so people rarely leave it for coverage. The usual reason is its credit model. Pro costs $99 a month for 1,200 credits, which its page says covers up to 4,800 AI answers, but how many buyer questions that tracks depends on how many of the ten engines each one runs against and how often. Growth jumps to $385 for 5,500 credits, and the $20 Essentials tier is listed with no detail about what it includes. Teams that want a plain prompt count, a middle tier between $99 and $385, or a workflow that ships fixes rather than auditing pages compare GetIntel, LLMrefs, Dageno, Peec AI, Otterly.AI and Scrunch AI on entry price, engines tracked, self-serve access, fix workflow and best fit. Its trial covers Pro only.
We make GetIntel. It's in this list and compared on the same criteria as everyone else.

1. GetIntel: best for a fixed question count and a fix workflow, no credits
GetIntel is a self-serve AI visibility tracker that prices by buyer questions rather than credits, so the capacity is known up front: $29 a month on Monitor for 25 questions, $79 on Pro for 60 and $149 on Growth for 120. Each question is checked daily on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and Growth adds Claude weekly. Where Rankscale audits pages, GetIntel on Pro turns every gap into a ranked task, whether that is a page to write, a list that omits you or a Reddit thread, with the copy drafted where it can and a coding agent working through the list over MCP while you review. It suits a small team that wants predictable pricing and help acting on the data. The limitation is breadth: four daily engines against Rankscale’s ten, with no DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok, Copilot or Google AI Mode.
2. LLMrefs: best for a plain 500-prompt allowance on eight engines
LLMrefs is the simplest swap for a Rankscale Pro user who wants a prompt count instead of credits. Its one plan, All in One, is $79 a month, at a price its page marks as limited-time, for 500 prompts across eight engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and Meta AI. That keeps most of Rankscale’s engine list, losing DeepSeek, Mistral and Grok but gaining Meta AI, for $20 less a month and a figure you can plan around. It includes monthly prompt volume estimates, geo-targeting across more than 50 countries, unlimited users and projects, and API access, which Rankscale lists on its $780 Enterprise tier. It suits a team that wants breadth without metering. The limitations are weekly automated reports, a price that may not outlast the offer, and no page audits or fix workflow.
3. Dageno: best for nine platforms on a prompt ladder with a middle tier
Dageno fills the gap between Rankscale’s $99 and $385 plans with a prompt ladder instead of credits. Starter is $49 a month for 50 prompts, Growth $199 for 250 and Scale $410 for 600, and every plan tracks nine platforms: ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Brave and Dola. That keeps Grok and Copilot from Rankscale’s list and adds Brave and Dola, though it drops Claude, DeepSeek and Mistral. Growth adds AI Shopping visibility, issue and opportunity detection, alerts, MCP access and content action recommendations, and Scale adds AI advertising data, multi-brand comparison and an API. Starter comes with a 7-day trial. It suits a team that wants wide coverage with a middle tier. The limitation is Claude, which Rankscale tracks on every plan and Dageno does not track at all.
4. Peec AI: best for depth of analysis over breadth of engines
Peec AI is the opposite trade from Rankscale: fewer engines, deeper analysis. Starter covers 50 prompts, Pro 150 and Advanced 350, and each plan picks three models from a pool of six (Naver AI, Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT and Google’s AI Mode and AI Overviews), with Perplexity and others as add-ons. We read the brand plans at $95, $245 and $495 a month on 17 September 2026; on 26 September its page showed the plans without prices. Every source is classified, gaps are broken down to the URL, brand perception and objections are scored, and actions are ranked and split into earned and owned, with agent actions built on reusable skills and unlimited users on every plan. It suits a marketing team that wants to understand its citations rather than count them across ten engines. The limitation is the three-model cap, which makes even Rankscale-style breadth an add-on cost.
5. Otterly.AI: best for a cheaper start than Rankscale Pro
Otterly.AI is the cheaper place to start for a team that finds Rankscale Pro more than it needs. Its $29 Lite plan covers 15 prompts, checked daily on Copilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews for any number of team members, and Standard is $189 for 100 prompts. Like Rankscale it pairs tracking with audits, 1,000 GEO URL audits a month on Lite, and it adds recommendations, three a week on Lite and uncapped from Standard, where API and MCP access also begin. It suits a small team that wants a published prompt count at a low entry price. The limitation is coverage: four engines are included, and Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons, so reaching anything like Rankscale’s ten engines costs more than Rankscale does. Premium covers 400 prompts for $489.
6. Scrunch AI: best for a prompt-based step up from Rankscale Growth
Scrunch AI is the alternative for a team heading toward Rankscale’s $385 Growth plan that would rather count prompts. Starter costs $250 a month billed annually, or $300 month to month, for 350 custom prompts and 1,000 industry prompts, three licences and five page audits, and Growth costs $417 or $500 for 700 prompts. Every plan tracks seven engines, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and Meta, so Claude stays in the list. It adds agent traffic monitoring and an Agent Experience Platform that generates an AI-friendly version of your site, and its 7-day trial needs no card. It suits a brand that wants a clear allowance at a mid-market price. The limitation is audits: five a month on Starter against 50 on Rankscale Pro, so page-level fixing is lighter. Enterprise is custom.
Which Rankscale alternative should you pick
If credits are the problem, LLMrefs gives you 500 prompts on eight engines for $79, and Dageno a nine-platform prompt ladder from $49 with a middle tier at $199. If you want help acting on the data, GetIntel on Pro at $79 ranks and drafts every fix.
If you are a marketing team that wants deeper analysis, Peec AI is the step to compare, and if you just want a cheap start, Otterly.AI begins at $29.
If you are moving up toward Rankscale Growth, Scrunch AI offers seven engines on a clear prompt allowance from $250. And if you need ten engines including DeepSeek, Mistral and Grok, Rankscale remains the widest option here.
