6 Best Scrunch Alternatives in 2026 (Compared on Price and Engines)
By Tarang Agarwal, founder of GetIntel. Every price checked on the vendor’s own page, last on 26 September 2026.
Scrunch AI covers a lot for a self-serve tool: seven engines on every plan, including Claude and Google AI Mode, plus page audits and an Agent Experience Platform. People look for an alternative mostly because of where its pricing starts. The cheapest plan, Starter, is $250 a month billed annually or $300 month-to-month, and there is nothing below it, so a founder or small team pays for 350 prompts and three licences whether or not they need them. Others want a stronger fix workflow than five page audits a month, or one contract across SEO and AI visibility. GetIntel, Profound, AthenaHQ, Peec AI, LLMrefs and the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit cover each of those cases between them, from a $29 self-serve plan to a nine-engine enterprise contract, each compared on entry price, engines tracked, self-serve access, fix workflow and best fit. Scrunch’s own 7-day Starter trial needs no card.
We make GetIntel. It's in this list and compared on the same criteria as everyone else.

1. GetIntel: best for teams below Scrunch’s $250 floor that still want fixes
GetIntel is a self-serve AI visibility tracker for founders and small teams, and it starts where Scrunch cannot: $29 a month on Monitor for 25 buyer questions, $79 on Pro for 60, and $149 on Growth for 120 with Claude added weekly. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews are checked daily on every plan, billed monthly with no annual commitment. Against Scrunch’s five page audits a month, the difference is volume of action. On Pro every gap becomes a ranked task, whether that is a page to write or refresh, a roundup or review site that skips you, or a Reddit thread, and GetIntel drafts the copy where it can. A coding agent can work through the list over MCP while you review each change. It suits a small team that wants Scrunch’s intent at a founder’s budget. The limitation is coverage: four daily engines rather than Scrunch’s seven, with no Google AI Mode or Meta, and Claude only weekly on the top plan.
2. Profound: best for enterprises that need more than Scrunch’s seven engines
Profound goes in the other direction from GetIntel: up, not down. Its Enterprise plan tracks up to nine answer engines, adding Copilot, DeepSeek and Exa Search to the set Scrunch covers, and comes with SSO, SAML, SOC 2, dedicated support and a tailored prompt plan. Its Agents and AI Marketer act on the data, with unlimited credits on Enterprise. It is only sold through sales. Profound withdrew its self-serve $99 and $399 tiers in September 2026, and its page on 26 September showed a 7-day trial, 50 prompts a day on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and a custom Enterprise quote. It suits a brand already comparing enterprise contracts, for which Scrunch’s own Enterprise tier is the natural rival. The limitation is that you cannot see a price, or buy anything, before that conversation.
3. AthenaHQ: best for teams that want Scrunch’s breadth plus content actions
AthenaHQ is Scrunch’s closest peer on breadth. Its Starter plan, $295 a month for 3,600 credits, tracks 11 models, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral, which is wider than Scrunch’s seven. Unlike Scrunch it also has a free tier, Essential, with $25 of credit and five engines, so you can see real answers before committing. On the action side, Starter includes on-page and off-page actions and a content optimization agent, a more direct workflow than audits alone. It suits a team that wants wide coverage and would rather the tool proposed the content. The limitation is predictability: credits are spent per prompt and model, so the real capacity of $295 depends on your mix, and Starter costs more than Scrunch’s annual Starter price. Enterprise adds SSO, audit logging and Athena’s own citation engine.
4. Peec AI: best for analytics-led teams that do not need seven engines
Peec AI costs well under Scrunch at entry, $95 a month for 50 prompts on Starter, $245 for 150 and $495 for 350 when we read its prices on 17 September 2026, with 15% off annually. Its 26 September page lists the plans but renders no prices. The trade is engines: each plan picks three models, from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, where Scrunch includes seven. Its analytics are its strength, with source classification, URL-level gap analysis, perception scoring and ranked actions, plus unlimited users on every plan. It suits a marketing team that cares most about three engines and wants to understand its citations in depth. The limitation is that matching Scrunch’s coverage means buying add-on models, and Claude is only on Enterprise. Agencies get separate bundle pricing, with prompts shared across client projects.
5. LLMrefs: best for scrunch’s engine list at a third of the price
LLMrefs is the value play against Scrunch. Its single All in One plan is $79 a month, marked as a limited-time price, for 500 prompts across eight engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and Meta AI. That covers every engine Scrunch Starter does, plus Copilot, with more prompts, for less than a third of the annual price. It includes unlimited team members and projects, geo-targeting across more than 50 countries, API access and weekly automated reports, plus bonus tools for crawlability and Reddit. It suits a team that mostly wants coverage and volume. The limitations are depth and permanence: there is no fix workflow beyond flagging content gaps, the reports are weekly, and a limited-time price can change. Extra prompts can be bought beyond the 500, and there is a 7-day free trial after signup.
6. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for sEO teams already paying for Semrush
For a team already in Semrush, its AI Visibility Toolkit may replace Scrunch at less than half the entry price. The Base plan is $99 a month per domain, billed annually, for 25 prompts tracked daily with mentions from ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity. It adds prompt research with topic volume and difficulty, competitor gaps, an AI search site audit and weekly Brand Performance reports with AI-generated recommendations. Semrush One bundles 50 to 200 prompts into its SEO plans for larger needs. It suits a team that wants AI data beside its keyword and backlink data rather than in a separate tool. The limitation against Scrunch is coverage and scale: four engines with no Claude, only 25 prompts at the base price, extra domains at $99 each, and no free trial. Brand Performance reports refresh weekly, while prompt tracking updates daily.
Which Scrunch alternative should you pick
If Scrunch’s $250 floor is the problem, GetIntel starts at $29 and adds a fix workflow at $79, while LLMrefs matches Scrunch’s engine list with more prompts for $79. Choose GetIntel if you want the work ranked and drafted, LLMrefs if you mainly want coverage.
If you want Scrunch’s breadth with content actions built in, AthenaHQ reaches 11 models on Starter and can be tried free first. If your team runs its SEO in Semrush, its AI Visibility Toolkit adds the essentials for $99 a month, and Peec AI suits an analytics-led team happy with three engines.
If you are weighing Scrunch’s Enterprise tier, compare it with Profound, which covers nine engines with SSO and SOC 2. For a large brand that needs one enterprise contract, Profound is the stronger alternative here.
