What we're working on, by weakest pillar

Honest read of the score above — and the specific moves we're shipping this month per pillar.

Rankings pillar10

Lowest pillar — we're cited in 0% of buyer questions while Profound owns the slot. Publishing weekly articles tuned to those 20 prompts to close the citation gap.

Content pillar29

Sitemap is light + quality signals (year-in-title, FAQ schema) are missing on most articles. Backfilling those across the existing posts + publishing 4 new buyer-question articles this month.

Authority pillar36

Domain rating's still mid (we're a new domain). Pitching 2 guest posts a week to AI-SEO publications + chasing G2 reviews from our founding cohort.

How we measure

Every week, GetIntel probes ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity (3 engines on our Pro tier) with 6 buyer-intent questions in our category — things like "best AI SEO tools," "Profound alternatives," "AI visibility scoring for SaaS." For each probe we capture the full answer, extract who got cited, and roll up share of voice + citation position.

Composite Findability Score = weighted average across 5 pillars: Foundation (technical baseline — llms.txt, schema, sitemap), Brand (per-engine entity knowledge + footprint on G2, Wikipedia, Reddit), Authority (domain rating + "best of" listicle presence), Content (coverage of buyer questions + citation rate + quality signals), and Rankings (share of voice + position when cited).

We never game the probes. Same prompt set runs week after week. If the score drops, the score drops — we publish the number, then ship the fix per the weakest pillar.

Why this matters: AI search has decoupled from Google rank. 44% of Google top-10 SaaS brands get zero ChatGPT citations. Buyers increasingly ask AI for product recommendations, and if your tool isn't cited, you lose deals you'll never see in your analytics.
